Thai Hot Compress Massage

Thai Hot Compress Massage in Coventry, at Almond Tree Holistic Therapies Clinic, by a Qualified Massage Therapist.

Our Thai Massage is a wonderfully relaxing heat treatment massage, combining fragrant Thai herbal compresses with firm pressure to improve muscle tone, reduce tension, inflammation, aches and pains.

Each compress contains an aromatic blend of beneficial herbs, including lemongrass, kaffir lime leaves, tamarind, acacia and ginger. The compresses are gently steamed before using these to massage the legs, back, arms, and shoulders and facial area. The massage combines Eastern massage techniques to roll, knead and relax the muscles, allowing the absorption of the herbal compounds through the skin to work on the underlying tissues.

Warming, relaxing and detoxifying, this massage is a luxurious treatment, promoting a deep sense of well being.

The massage begins with a short consultation to discuss your medical history and ensure there are no contra indications to the treatment. You may choose to have a full body treatment (75 minutes), or you may prefer the massage to focus on the back, neck and shoulder area (40 minutes). Following the massage, you are encourage to relax and rest before being offered a refreshing drink and discussing appropriate aftercare advice.
